Hack of the Week

Life Hack #92: Write handwritten thank-you notes. As we move into this age of depersonalization, technology doesn’t supersede the need to build meaningful relationships.

When giving thanks in the digital age,
make it personal.

As you express gratitude this holiday season, I encourage you to go back to the basics. My children handwrite thank-you notes for every present they receive. I write thank-you notes to close friends, family, mentors, and my team, striving to name specific traits I admire most in them. Amazingly, handwritten and in-person acknowledgment in the digital age inspires surprise and delight.
