Red-eyes are a mom’s best friend.

Last week took #hacksthetour to the West Coast which, combined with work calls and sales meetings, made for a packed few days. I don’t like to be away from my kids for more than one night, so I try to schedule day trips whenever I can and use them as excuses to see some of my most beloved friends. Instead of spending the night at the hotel, I take red-eyes back to Chicago to take my girls to school the next morning. Wondering how I survive those red-eyes? Keep scrolling!

Hack of the Week

Life Hack #88: To survive a redeye: 1) hydrate like hell, 2) eat crazy clean for the following two days, 3) power through until your kids’ bedtime the next day (no naps), and 4) work out, but not too hard.
