Learn to train your mind.

My dear friend—and a coach to the athletic stars—Abdul Sillah came to visit last week and stopped by our office for another round of athletic assessments with our team. Though he left us sore for days, Abdul’s tips on training the mind are, as always, as invaluable as those that he emphasizes for training the body. Words are just as powerful as weights in helping build up your strength: treat training your thoughts and attitude with the same rigor, focusing on keeping your mind clean and healthy.

Hack of the Week

Life Hack #66: Move your body, calm your mind. My morning workout sessions are sacred. If I work out, I quiet the chatter in my mind, and I can be truly present for the rest of the day. I encourage you to find ways to move: it could be walking, yoga, cycling, HiiT classes—whatever gets you to that feel-good place in your body and in your mind.
