Sticking to the New You.

The start of a new year is as much about making resolutions as it is about keeping them. In lockstep with last week’s email, this week I’ve collected hacks to help you stick with all you have resolved to achieve & accomplish in 2020.

Hacks for Habits

  • Life Hack #94: Schedule everything. Adding something to your schedule makes it highly more likely you’ll do it. Calendars works retroactively, too, helping you track of tasks, habits, and touchpoints with people.
  • Leadership Hack #17: Be open to the organic next steps. This is true in business and in life (and in sticking to resolutions!). Whether you initiated the transition or it’s been forced onto you, be open, courageous, and honest as you look at what could organically unfold.
  • Life Hack (New): Be a slave to a routine, not a schedule. This goes in tandem with #1: while scheduling everything is crucial, prioritize a routine. Whether school departure happens at 8:18 or 8:28 is irrelevant: it’s my commitment to taking my kids to school that counts.
