President’s Day. 

John Quincy Adams said, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” Irrespective of the political party or historic time frame, however, our nation’s leaders would agree with on the greatest life lessons my husband, the 1990 MLB Champion Hal Morris instilled in me: “Until it’s the ninth inning and the third out, keep swinging.”

Leadership Hack #22: Being a good leader doesn’t mean talking all the time. Sometimes the very best thing you can do as a leader is to not talk. Shut your mouth, keep your eyes and ears open, and let the people around you share their experience and domain expertise. Watch and learn.
