#parisolympics2024highlights: Part 2

Last week, I shared the information on our highlights from the #parisolympics: part 1, and the great memories and lessons learned from Equestrian, Tennis and Swimming events. (https://alyssarapp.com/week-218-parisolympics2024highlights-part-1/)

1. Gymnastics

Key lesson we learned/were reminded of when watching the individual event finals for balance beam and floor exercise is that even champions have bad days! (Biles and Lee both fell on the beam.)And that it is important to be a gracious competitor and honor talent as Biles/Chiles did on the medal stand when their Brazilian competitor took the gold.

2. Track and Field

What a day of upsets!! We love when underdogs prevail and man was it fun to see the Americans shine in the 1500 m final when the key titans were expected to win. A healthy reminder that it ain’t over til it’s over in life. And start strong, finish stronger. Always!

We loved the Paris Olympics and can’t wait for LA in the Summer of 2028! Sign up for more information on those at https://la28.org/.
