French Secrets from a French Chef in Honor of #bastilleday.

My friend and frequent event collaborator, Chef Marlene Dulery, returned to Southern France to open a cafe after years of private chefing and catering large scale events in the San Francisco Bay Area.

She considers herself a citizen of the world, and loves to continue to chef and produce events in the US, UK, as well as run her restaurant in France.

Most of all, somehow, in spite of her love of food and wine, she manages to stay (annoyingly) thin. So she was asked by publisher Austin Macauley to distill her secrets into a book, just released. The book talks about “the art or being French” and a “28 day program” (meal plan) for her beautifully flavorful meals that are somehow not too calorically loaded.
