In honor of President’s Day last week, we went through Presidential Hacks; this week, in thinking more about leadership insights from Presidents, John Quincy Adam‘s wise words always ring true for me.

John Quincy Adams said, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” Irrespective of the political party or historic time frame, our nation’s leaders would agree with one the greatest life lessons my husband, the 1990 MLB Champion Hal Morris instilled in me: “Until it’s the ninth inning and the third out, keep swinging.”
