Hal turns 59 today. If only we all were so fortunate as to look 10 years younger than we are (and act 20 years younger ! ) like him.

Here are my Top 5 lessons learned from my tremendous husband during his 59th year on earth:

(1) Cannot go wrong marrying a Michigan Man.

(2) Men who love their parents and their dogs are softies at heart.

3) Marry someone as devoted to your kids as you are (as evidenced by countless hours at barns/horse shows and tennis practice/matches this past year).

(4) Squeeze in “Date Night” (or weekends away together) as often as Possible.

(5) Have gratitude every day for the good times. Life moves at the speed of light these days.
