Reading List 2022

It’s a new year and I’m approaching the stack of books on my bedside table with renewed optimism. As such, my next reads in 2022 are outlined below. Hope they are inspiring to you:

[NEW] Entrepreneurial Leadership, by Joel Peterson. Joel’s 10 Laws of Trust: Building Bonds that Make a Business Great are inspired and inspiring; his newest oeuvre is equally so. Joe’s greatest gift are the tools and tactics to maintain a culture of trust in any organization. Now he applies this foundation to an entrepreneurial leadership style and setting.

[OLD/REREAD] Atlas Shrugged by, Ayn Rand.
One of my prized possessions is an original edition of this book given to me by my Bottlenotes cofounder Kim Donaldson. I love just about everything about the protagonist Dagny Taggart, the brilliance and complexity of each of her love interests, and the ultimate question of what happens when the engines of the world go on strike. It feels frighteningly timeless.

[PERIODICAL] The Radical Woman Behind ‘Goodnight Moon’, by Anna Holmes
I looked at what it means to be a pioneering woman very differently after reading this article on Margaret Wise Brown, author of Goodnight Moon.
