I was stunned to learn my treasured mentor, Joel Peterson, passed away this week. Reflecting upon all that I learned from him as a student, entrepreneur, educator, investor, spouse and parent, I am filled with gratitude for the impact Joel’s brilliant insights have had on my life. It feels only fitting to share his own “Reflections on Seven Decades of Thanksgivings” this Thanksgiving 2025.
