July 4th Edition: Weekend in Review

Siblings Jeff and Alyssa Rapp and their kids,
The Village Green, Winnetka, Illinois: July 4, 2025
I have the fondest of memories of July 4th in the Midwest throughout my life. Small town parades, reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Village Green, 50 meter dash by age group, bbqs, fireworks, the usual.

This year did not disappoint.

After retrieving Henriette from a terrific two weeks as a Visual Arts student at Interlochen Arts Camp, we rolled into the quintessential July 4th filled with family, food, and fun.

Then, come July 5th, it became time for the next battle: taking Audrey to 12U Clay Court nationals in North Caroilna.

Wishing you and yours an equally festive, celebratory, and all-American rest of July- kicked off with Independence Day!

Henriette and me post 50 and 60 meter dashes, respectively
